Page Turner Awards Update

Hello Dear Readers,

Last year, I was chosen as a 2025 Page Turner Awards Finalist for my manuscript God Quest: God Discovered in Everyday Places.

This year, I am thrilled to share feedback received from judges of the 2026 Page Turner Awards on the first ten pages of God Quest: God Discovered in Everyday Places.

From freelance editor, Stewart Kerry, County Cork, Ireland:

Stewart Carry Fri, 12/06/2026 – 11:14

This excerpt has real layered depth and meaning to it. Coupled with an elegant style and flawless writing, it’s very engaging but I suspect it might have been entered in the wrong category. That said, don’t fret about it as it will have no bearing on its obvious merits.

From Falguni Jain, India – editor, writer, beta reader, book reviewer and compulsive reader:

The manuscript begins with a strong hook that immediately draws the reader in. The intriguing writing style creates curiosity and keeps the audience invested in the unfolding story.

From freelance fiction book editor (mysteries and romance) and writer, reader, and editor of fan fiction, Jennifer Rarden, Kansas City, Kansas:

I love how personal this feels. So often, a book contains useful or even interesting information, but the heart of the book isn’t noticeable. That isn’t the case here. Well written and a good read.

Wish me luck! The winners will be announced in November 2026.

P.S. Stewart Carry’s “wrong category” alert was remedied, and the entry re-assigned from “Creative Non-Fiction” to the “Christian” sub-category.

Cheers!

Carolin
